A Calm Environment
At Lakeshore Woods Dental we’ve gone to great lengths to make your visit as stress-free as possible. Our reception area bears little resemblance to that of most dental offices. We have books and creative toys for the kids to play with, as well as colouring pages. Adults enjoy our wide selection of up to date magazines.
Digital X-Rays
At Lakeshore Woods Dental we have invested in highly advanced digital radiography equipment. We take xrays with a digital sensor rather than traditional film, and this enables us to reduce radiation exposure by 80-90%. This technology also provides the team with information that goes beyond traditional x-rays, thus providing high quality imaging while simultaneously offering greatly reduced radiation exposure and also eliminating the disposal of hazardous depleted developing chemicals into the environment. All images are safely stored on our computer network for easy retrieval and diagnosis. These Digital records and x-rays also makes it convenient for our patients who move to other cities since original quality records can be digitally forwarded to another office with ease.
Chairside Computers & TVs
In each operatory, there is a computer and two flat panel monitors. This allows us to better educate through illustrations, xrays, and via intraoral cameras which enable us to show you close up photos of your mouth.
Each operatory in our office is also equipped with TV’s to pass the time while in the dental chair.
